About the AuthorSusan Lang was born on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and grew up in the town of Pass Christian, Mississippi. As a child, she admired the beautiful beachfront houses in her hometown, and often drew rough floor plans of her dream home. Susan is a graduate of Pass Christian High School. She attended Mississippi State University, Starkville, Mississippi and received the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas. Susan has been a consultant for the design, construction, and decorating of many homes and condominiums. She has worn the hat of architect, general contractor, and interior designer on remodel projects ranging from $100,000-$250,000. She has consulted on numerous remodeling and custom building projects including a 15,000+ square foot home in Aspen, Colorado. Susan has two children, Suzy Foral of Greenville, South Carolina and Hastings Puckett of Jackson, Mississippi. She is the proud grandmother of Allie Foral, Peyton Puckett, and Parker Puckett. Susan lived in Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas for 23 years before moving to Nashville, Tennessee, in 2005. |
